– What I like about Aderian is that the entrepreneurs are still there and that they continue to work with their companies and under their own brands. There is a strong customer focus, flexibility in the offer and a local commitment that I can miss in companies where you centralize too hard, says Marcus Lindstedt.
Together with Johan de Verdier, who has a similar background, Marcus will provide strong support to Group Management and company directors on the continued growth journey of the fast-growing group. Marcus also joins as a partner in Aderian.
– “I am very much looking forward to having Marcus Lindstedt on the board, besides having an incredible experience from the IT industry, he is also an entrepreneur and has been involved in building several companies. With Marcus and Johan on the board, it will be easier for me to avoid some of the speed bumps that we will encounter along the way,” says Mia Åslander, CEO of Aderian.
Marcus started Sweden’s first Application Service Provider (ASP) company, Kebne, in parallel with his studies at KTH in the mid-90s. Both the company and the industry grew rapidly and Kebne was acquired by Norwegian TeleComputing where Marcus became CEO of the Swedish company. After that, he owned and led Excanto, which after just over ten years was bought by IK Investment Partners in the wave of consolidation that swept through the industry. Marcus Lindstedt has worked his entire professional life in IT and has been involved in about ten companies.
Marcus has several investments and board positions, including an early investment in IT security company Yubico. Current board assignments include companies such as Presto and the advisory board of Lifesum.
