Aktiv IT was founded in 2006 and currently has 51 employees. The company covers the whole of Värmland with offices in Arvika, Karlstad, Säffle and Årjäng, but customers are also found internationally, mainly in Norway, where the company is planning to expand.
– We are very excited about this natural step in our growth. For a long time we have felt that if we are to grow in size, we need to be part of a larger context. Now we get more opportunities and more muscle to grow both with new and existing customers, says Thomas Björn, CEO of Swedish Aktiv IT.
– “For us, it is a great advantage to have access to a much larger and broader portfolio that includes, for example, security solutions, Apple products and cloud solutions. This is necessary because we operate in a global market with great competition,” says Peder Björklund, CEO of Norwegian Aktiv IT.
The company will now become part of the newly established Aderian Group, which consists of leading local companies with long experience and strong brands. Together, the companies offer comprehensive services in IT and application operations, infrastructure, cloud services, security and digitization for small and medium-sized companies.
– Through this acquisition, we get a competent partner that complements us and means that we cover the whole of Värmland. With the establishment in Norway, we also gain access to a new market,” says Mia Åslander, CEO of Aderian Group.
